Email support@ottersoccer.app with “OtterReversi” in the subject. If something went wrong, include your device model, iOS version, app version, and what happened. Please do not send passwords or payment details.

Start a game

Choose New game, then 1 player to play against the computer or 2 players to take turns on this device. Starting a new game replaces the current match.

Make a move

Place a disc so opposing discs lie in a straight line between your new disc and another of your discs. All enclosed discs flip. Black plays first; a player with no legal move passes automatically. The player with more discs when neither can move wins.

Hints and review

Hint highlights a suggested move and explains it. Review moves lets you look back through the current match; Return to game resumes play. In a two-player match, both players should agree before undoing.

Sound and accessibility

Open Settings at the top of the screen. Music and effects have separate switches and volume controls. Audio respects Silent mode and pauses when you leave. Settings also offers a flat high-contrast board and optional haptics. OtterReversi follows your device’s Reduce Motion setting.

Saved games

Your current match saves automatically on this device. There is no account or cloud game sync. Deleting the app removes local game data. Apple manages purchases and refunds through the App Store.

Game Center and invitations

Choose Play online, then Game Center games to invite a friend or resume a match. Both players need OtterReversi, internet access, and separate Game Center accounts. Share an invitation creates a small attachment for Messages, Mail, or another app. Open the attachment in OtterReversi within seven days, confirm, and continue through Game Center. If the player cannot be found, use the native Game Center friend picker.

Online turns save to Game Center. Checkers jump chains keep the same player until complete; Reversi automatically passes when a player has no move. A failed refresh locks moves until your game is synchronized. Use Refresh game after reconnecting. Return to local game restores your offline match without resigning. Use Resign game to concede.
